On Thursday, May 31, USA Luge athletes Erin Hamlin, Chris Mazdzer, Matt Mortensen and Joe Mortensen christened the Twister Racer waterslide at Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George, NY. The slide is a part of a series of new slides at the park called Alpine Free Falls. Members of the regional press watched as the four athletes raced down the track simultaneously after the starters pistol was fired ...the winner was Erin Hamlin (corrected from earlier reports)!
