USA Luge appoints Yuliia Tyshevych as Marketing Manager

 Tyshevych brings passion for sport, marketing experience to organization

 

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. –USA Luge today announced the appointment of Yuliia Tyshevych to Marketing Manager. In this role, she will manage the existing partnerships and sponsorships for the organization as well as plan and execute marketing events, fundraisers, USA Luge recruitment events, and assist with the creation of digital content.  

She will interact will USA Luge partners, including Norton/Saint-Gobain, Team Worldwide, Dow, U.S. Venture, White Castle, Massey Ferguson/Eklund Farm Machinery and the entire USA Luge family of supporters.

 

Born in Odesa, Ukraine, Tyshevych came to Lake Placid in 2016, and has served in a variety of roles in the hospitality and tourism industry in the town. Most recently, she was General Manager of The Haus on Mirror Lake, a 10-room hotel on Main Street in Lake Placid. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing all hotel activities, finances, and marketing. She also oversaw a hotel-wide renovation project through completion while staying within budget.  

 

She fills the role at USA Luge left vacant after the untimely passing of Dmitry Feld in January of this year, who served the organization for over 30 years.  

 

“I am passionate about helping the community where I live and volunteering for sporting events in Lake Placid,” said Tyshevych. “During these experiences, I met my friend, Dmitry Feld, and together we worked to ship containers with humanitarian aid for civilians as well as supplies for our friends who joined the military. It was during these interactions that Dmitry found time to turn me into a luge fan! I am excited and honored to become a part of the USA Luge family. I know I have big shoes to fill but I will do my best to help develop and promote the sport and to make my friend, Dmitry, proud.” 

 

Tyshevych graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Odesa Mechnikov National University.

The nine-circuit World Cup season will kick-off in Lillehammer, Norway, November 29-December 1, 2024, with the 53rd World Championships scheduled for February 6-9, 2025, in Whistler, Canada.
